Patio Doors, Vinyl Replacement Patio Doors
Patio Doors – Glass Options:
Typical patio doors are only available with an inefficient 3/4 inch glass unit. A six-foot patio door has approximately 39 square feet of glass. Think about an area that large on your wall that is not insulated. It would be extremely cold in the winter and you would lose energy resulting in higher heating bills. Jack’s patio doors are available with a Duralite non-conductive glass spacer system. Glass spacers are usually made of tin or stainless steel, both of which transfer temperature from the inside of your home to the outside, drastically affecting how energy-efficient your new patio door is. Two glass units are offered in Jack’s Patio Doors, double pane, and high-performance triple pane. Our double and triple pane units both have an industry-leading Low E coating, filled with argon gas, then certified to over a 95% argon gas fill.
Vinyl Patio Door Construction:
Jack’s offers two and three-panel vinyl patio doors. Two-panel doors come in 5,6, and 8 foot wide standard sizes and three-panel doors are available in 9 and 12-foot widths. Custom sizes are available in every size and style required to fit your needs. Standard colors are white or beige vinyl, but the door can also have a vinyl simulated woodgrain color inside. The frames are reinforced in key areas (F and I) for ultimate strength and security, and the vinyl is fusion-welded in the corners ( C ). Multiple fin-seal weather-stripping is installed on several planes and there is a deep interlock to keep the air infiltration to the industry’s lowest numbers. Our patio doors are either manufactured with brass or nylon rollers, depending on the model, but all models have a stainless steel insert on the track (G).
